Breeze Airways made a move this morning to help University of Arkansas football fans see the Razorbacks in the Outback Bowl.

The Hogs game against Penn State in Tampa was announced on Sunday and fans scrambled in the afternoon and evening to snap up flights to the city for the Jan. 1 game.

The fan-created surge led to limited availability and some airlines started charging more than $900 to make the roundtrip from Northwest Arkansas National Airport to Tampa.

Breeze today added a morning flight on Dec. 31, that leaves XNA at 9 a.m. and arrives in Tampa just before the noon hour.

The airline also added a Jan. 1 return flight that takes off for Northwest Arkansas around 6:45 p.m. eastern time. There’s plenth of time to see the game that starts at noon eastern time that day and then head to the airport.

Breeze started flying nonstop from XNA to Tampa in June. Those trips on 118-seat Embraers take off every Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday.
